How fast can your community find a missing child?

Find out with a Community Challenge.

What is a Community Challenge?

A community challenge, allows a group of people to utilize the Lassy Project system to find a missing person. You select the missing person, you select where they will go and you escalate the alert to notify people in the area to come search for your “missing person.” This can be a small event with just people on your street or a large event including the whole town, business sponsors, prizes and more. What the community gets to experience is how they pull together to look for a missing person and the peace of mind knowing that if their child ever goes missing they can rely on these people to help find them. What you get, is a fun way to grow the village and get people to join in your area.

Ready to rock your community challenge?

Simply fill out the form and we will ship out your Community Challenge kit.

2 Children will be reported missing by the time you are done reading this post

Did you read the title? We think that sounds CRAZY and have decided to do something about it!

If you haven’t already, Join the Village to help find missing kids before they become a statistic.

In the mean-time, kids are missing and we need to improve every aspect of how we help find them.

Social media has been both a boon and bane in the search and rescue process. Current missing child alerts on social media platforms have no place to provide current status or updates. No reliable and predictable place for people to go and find out the latest on any particular case (there are many). This confusion ensures that a lot of unguided good intention goes to waste as people are spending time sharing alerts that don’t need it which takes away from the child who does.

The Solution
Focus on better ways of providing up-to-date information on missing children in a standard way.

You will start to see The Lassy Project sharing missing children on our facebook page. These alerts will always lead back to a post that will include current status, updates, and where to report information. Keep in mind that for every alert you see there are dozens of alerts you don’t see. Visit our blog dedicated to missing children and share cases near you with confidence. When people have questions about a missing child, the answers are now a click away.
